Looking for HO clubs in Europe - Montoya1 - 10-01-2007 I have been asked by NSR to find out how many HO clubs and raceways there are in Europe, any help anyone can give me may go toward this great company making HO parts. I give you a short introduction in JOGO RACING-MODELLRENNBAHN.AT, probably the only H0- Slotracing Club in Vienne/Austria. Our tracks are situated in two locations. One is our track-studio and club location, the other is a austrias largest modellracing center in the suburbs of vienna. You can get first impressions on www.modellrennbahn.at and www.modellracing.at. Unfortunately the english version of both pages is still under construction <img src='http://www.h0slot.de/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rolleyes.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> . Maybe there is potential for cooperation between NSR and the modellracing center. As far as I know, the Modellracing Center (www.modellracing.at) is the only commercial slotracing center in europe, at least in Austria, which offers the wide range of slotracing under one umbrella. (tracks and accessories for 1/24, 1/32, H0). The on the spot support of the H0 tracks is the part of our club (JOGO RACING-MODELLRENNBAHN.AT). The tracks are designed and custom-made in our track-studio. The main aim of our club focus on the track design and race events, e.g. on trade fairs ore company incentives. Last but not least our partner- club www.slotcar-edelschmiede is the provider of the community with fine handmade H0 slotcars. He is getting on the work of BRA, the former commercial producer of H0 slotcars in Austria, who aborted his production in 2006. So we are proud to exist as an very small, but fine self-supporting H0 Slotracing community. This year, we think about a participation on viennas modellbuilding trade fair in autumn 2007. The races take place at so-called "racing weekends" (RWE's) that are organized privately by anyone who wants to organize it. That could be someone in his private home or even a slotcar-club. At one of our venues, the track used on the sunday is built on the friday. So maybe the Euro race could be on the saturday? .
